We are happy when we are growing." -- William Butler Yeats

I started my journey of yoga over 20 years ago as a new mom, living in a new town and wondering where to go next with my life. Since then I have never stopped growing or being in awe of the many gifts that yoga has brought into my life. I am particularly grateful for all the students and teachers I have meet along the way.
When I took my first teacher training, I had no idea if I wanted to teach yoga, I just knew that I wanted to learn more about this practice that had so touched my life, helped heal my low back pain and made me a happier person. I have never looked back since then, except with deepest gratitude that I took that first step. Teaching yoga and especially training yoga teachers has expanded my appreciation of all that yoga has to offer. There is a rich history of philosophy that is still applicable today.
After years of teaching in all levels of the College of Purna Yoga and studying with the founders of Purna Yoga, Aadil Palkhivala and Savitri, I am expanding my knowledge and offerings with the self-care modalities of the MELT Method and years of exploration in the fields of personal development and healthy lifestyle. My aspiration is to offer you a holistic, inspiring experience that opens your eyes to all the wonderful possibilities that are within you.
With all the places that my yoga practice has taken me, I am most grateful that it has taken me deeper into knowing myself. I will be sharing insights and stories that happen along the way in my blog, Yoga in real life. Please join me on this journey of discovery and share what opens your eyes and your heart.
